Sub Rosa: Where Business is Brutal
Sub Rosa isn’t your average multiplayer shooter. Forget predictable team deathmatches; this game throws you into a world where corporate espionage, cutthroat deals, and high-octane chases are the norm. Currently in extended Early Access (proceed with caution!), Sub Rosa offers a unique blend of economic strategy and intense gunplay.
The core gameplay revolves around controlling colored disks, representing corporate power and wealth. In World Mode, this unfolds in a persistent, evolving world where players can build their corporate empires through shrewd negotiation or ruthless violence. Smooth talking your way to a lucrative deal? Great. Prefer to blast your competitors into oblivion and seize their assets? That works too. The choice is yours.
Round Mode offers a more structured experience, compressing the corporate warfare into a five-day work week. Your corporation’s cumulative earnings determine your standing at the end – a test of both strategic prowess and trigger-happy efficiency.
But Sub Rosa gets truly intriguing with Eliminator Mode. A thrilling game of cat-and-mouse unfolds as one player, the Eliminator, hunts down the Savior, while a Protector secretly guides the Savior to safety. This asymmetrical gameplay creates intense moments of suspense and unexpected alliances. Are you the ruthless Eliminator, the desperate Savior, the watchful Protector, or just another Civilian caught in the crossfire?
Sub Rosa is a game of calculated risks, shifting alliances, and unpredictable outcomes. It’s a wild ride, still under development, but brimming with potential. Follow @SubRosaGame for updates on this exciting, ever-evolving shooter.
